Online Baseball BIO Form | Baseball Medical Waiver
The Future Prospects Travel Ball program is focused on developing young players in a competitive tournament play environment structured to advance players as they advance in their level of play and in their age groups.
Tournaments are generally played on weekends throughout Northern California and feature pool play followed by elimination games leading to a tournament champion.
From Charles Scott:
“I want to welcome you to the Future Prospects travel teams program and thank you for your participation in what I fully expect to be the best baseball experience you’ll ever have."
So much is said about young athletes and how best to teach them to maximize their potential, but my approach with the Future Prospects program is not only to teach the game I love but also to provide our players with a supportive environment where their skills and maturity can develop. As much as we may want to believe that young players need to be readied for potential major league careers we at Future Prospects remain cognizant that these players are still kids and should have fun while learning the lessons we can teach.
I began Future Prospects over 18 years ago and have seen the program grow beyond my expectations because of some very simple rules I follow: we greatly care about every player in our program and give personal attention to their individual needs and development; we create a positive and encouraging environment for the players to realize their potential as ballplayers and as responsible young people; we provide reasonable challenges to advance players’ growth and development.”
About Travel Team Baseball:
Travel ball offers a more competitive, higher level of competition than Little League or other “recreational” programs. Typically, travel teams stress more demanding practice requirements and do not always guarantee that players will receive equal playing time.
Players in travel ball programs tend to be more highly motivated to succeed both individually and as a team.
Travel team players and parents will be asked to travel and absorb their own costs for weekend lodging and meals. In Northern California many of the travel tournament locations are in the central valley where during the summer it can be quite warm.
